J.C. the puppymonster was a tremendous companion. He really lived a long and full life. He was a trail running, frisbee catching guy. He gave so much back to us. We adopted him August 28, 1999. Originally J.C. stood for “Just a Canine”, but as he grew it changed to “Just Crazy!” The puppymonster name came from his endless energy. For years, we played catch in the backyard every morning before I went to work and we hiked on a trail somewhere almost every weekend.
His natural herding instinct was funny with the cats. If they started to fight with each other, he would run in to see what was going on right away. He had a ton of personality and was very good with some simple voice commands and even knew hand commands as well. He went deaf in his later years, so the hand signals helped a lot. He was eager to please and was a faithful friend. Cool weather was his favorite, and he has really enjoyed the snowfalls we have had.
We figured his birthday was around July 5, 1999.
J.C. joined his pet pals in heaven on January 11, 2016.
